Are you an experienced Surfacing Ganger looking for the next step in your career? You'll be working on a variety of local surfacing projects, leading teams on site and making sure everything is delivered safely, on time and to the highest standard. With the support of a close-knit management team, you'll have the freedom to take ownership of your work and the satisfaction of seeing projects through from start to finish.
What you'll be doing:
·Leading surfacing gangs on site and taking responsibility for daily operations
·Coordinating with clients, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery
·Making sure health, safety and environmental standards are followed at all times
·Managing resources, plant and materials to keep projects running efficiently
·Working closely with the business owners to deliver high-quality results that build repeat custom
What we're looking for:
·Previous experience as a Surfacing Ganger (or similar role)
·Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct teams on site
·NVQ qualification in road surfacing (or working towards it) - highly desirable
·A hands-on, adaptable attitude suited to a smaller business environment
·Good understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance
