Learning Support Assistant – Reading
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £85 – £105 per day
Contract: Full-time
Academics are proud to be working alongside a thriving and inclusive primary school in Reading, currently seeking a committed Learning Support Assistant to join their friendly team.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a passionate Learning Support Assistant to play a key role in supporting pupils’ learning and development. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will help create a positive environment where children feel confident, supported, and ready to succeed.
The Role
The successful Learning Support Assistant will work closely with teachers to provide tailored support for pupils who need additional guidance. You will contribute to a nurturing classroom setting where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.
Key responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support as a Learning Support Assistant
* Assist in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
* Promote positive behaviour and active participation
* Track pupil progress and share feedback with staff
About You
We are looking for a proactive and caring Learning Support Assistant who has a genuine interest in education and supporting young learners.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people
* Ability to provide two professional references
* Right to work in the UK
