Category Manager - ICT

As part of a refreshed strategy, we are seeking an experienced ICT Category Manager to strengthen our commercial capability.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior ICT Category Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of ICT procurement frameworks and category strategies. You will work closely with members, suppliers, and sector partners, acting as a trusted advisor on ICT procurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end ICT procurement frameworks from market engagement to contract award
- Develop and deliver ICT category strategies informed by market insight and trend analysis
- Manage major framework agreements, supplier performance, KPIs, and risk
- Build strong relationships with members, suppliers, and collaborative procurement partners
- Ensure governance and compliance with public procurement regulations
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the team
About You
- Proven experience in ICT procurement, including complex software contracts
- Strong knowledge of public procurement regulations (PCR 2015 / Procurement Act 2023)
- Skilled in supplier negotiation, contract management, and SRM
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Commercially astute with a track record of delivering value and efficiencies
- CIPS qualified or willing to work towards
