Are you a caring, reliable driver looking for a fulfilling live-in care position in a supportive home environment? We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced live-in female carer to support a male client with C4/5/6 complete tetraplegia and scoliosis, based in Reading, Berkshire, where he lives alone. The role involves providing consistent, high-quality daily living support within a safe, respectful, and supportive home environment that promotes independence, dignity, and wellbeing. What you'll be doing: Assistance with all aspects of personal care (including hoisting, washing, dressing, grooming) Support with mobility and safe transfers Support with bowel and bladder care routines (as trained/required) Assistance with meal preparation and hydration Housekeeping and maintaining a clean, safe living environment Supporting social activities, appointments, and community access Overnight presence and assistance as required in a live-in capacity When you'll be working: Rolling rota - 2 weeks on 2 weeks off. While this role is offered on a zero-hours contract, shifts are typically stable and consistent, giving you reliable working patterns within a dedicated care package.
