A brilliant and high-performing secondary school in Reading is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join its successful department as soon as possible.

The Role
The successful candidate will teach Science across KS3 & KS4, with the opportunity to deliver a specialist Science at KS5 depending on experience. You will plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that promote curiosity, practical investigation, and strong academic outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering high-quality lessons aligned with an ambitious curriculum
Monitoring student progress and using data to raise attainment
Preparing students effectively for GCSE examinations
Contributing to curriculum development within the Science faculty
Participating in enrichment activities such as STEM initiatives and trips
You will be part of a collaborative and supportive Science team committed to maintaining high standards.

The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
Strong subject knowledge across Science
Experience teaching to KS4 (KS5 desirable)
