Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality Religious Studies lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially Key Stage 5
Plan engaging and differentiated lessons that challenge and motivate pupils
Prepare pupils for internal assessments and public examinations
Promote discussion, reflection, and understanding of a range of faiths, ethics, and philosophical ideas
Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement
Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities within the department
Support the wider life of the school through pastoral responsibilities and extracurricular activities
Liaise professionally with parents, colleagues, and external stakeholders

The ideal candidate will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Religious Studies in a secondary setting
