Wayman Education is in search of an enthusiastic Music ECT to join a well-regarded secondary school in Reading at the earliest opportunity. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to education and demonstrate a track record of delivering high-quality teaching across KS3, KS4, and optionally, KS5. Additionally, they will collaborate effectively with the school team to ensure all students benefit from a positive and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities of the Music ECT:

• Design and deliver captivating lessons that challenge and inspire secondary students to excel
• Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining comprehensive records of academic performance
• Establish a safe and supportive learning environment conducive to student success
• Collaborate with school management, fellow educators, and parents to provide effective academic support
• Participate in school activities such as events, performances, and parent-teacher meetings
• Adhere to safeguarding policies and prioritize the welfare of all students
• Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain order and safety

Requirements for the Music ECT:

• QTS or equivalent qualification
• Degree in a relevant field, ideally with a specialization in Music
• Recognized teaching qualification, preferably a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate learners
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with stakeholders
• Thorough understanding of the national curriculum and its application
• Adaptability in teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles
• Passion for teaching and making a positive impact on students' lives
