Job Overview

Responsible for helping life science customers solve business problems through the adoption of IQVIA AI offerings. Possesses a technical expertise in AI, as well as deep domain expertise in life sciences Works with customers and partners, to facilitate discovery, map out their needs, deliver AI advisory services, and navigate which IQVIA offering-or complement of offerings in a tailored solution-best suits their needs, with particular emphasis on offerings enabled by applied AI science products. Maintains strong customer relationships, engaging regularly to ensure continued success of the solutions post-delivery.

Essential Functions

• Understands and guides others in the use and limitation of applied AI science solutions in relation to our customers' needs and contributes to ongoing advancements and innovation (including in scientific validation of AI products/solutions)

• Leads meetings designed to delve into client's/customer's needs to match those needs with applied AI science offerings (and, where appropriate, tailored AI advisory services to support customers with a roadmap for success)

• Leads the development of customer proposals that may blend multiple products in novel solutions to address customer needs, owning the definition of the proposal response strategy (either in response to customer requests for proposals or through direct engagement)

• Determines key metrics to be used for measuring/tracking success of AI solutions for clients and serves as a go-to scientific expert for these clients

• Develops, reviews, approves, and delivers (often through a multi-stakeholder exercise) tailored (i.e., client-specific) AAIS product specifications, communications, and informational materials for life science customers and projects

• Ensures resolution of any issues that clients/customers encounter across the project portfolio

• Supports active engagement and existing Applied AI Science customers in their success with our solutions (including licensed software), and engages meaningfully to ensure we understand their longer-term needs and build long-term partnerships that introduce value enhancements with time

• Plays a lead role in the pre-sale stages and in delivery for end-to-end continuity in the customer journey, guiding and supporting other team members and account managers

• Applies AIML knowledge to develop and implement methods of solving complex customer problems in collaboration with other experts

• Manage a portfolio of projects dependent on applied AI science solutions/offerings, cultivating strong customer relationships / account growth while engaging the right complement of experts through the journey for the customer

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Machine Learning, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Math, or Epidemiology

• Sufficient experience to understand and be credible as an applied AI science expert
