We’re looking for a talented Change Manager to support major Defence programmes, helping our teams and stakeholders navigate transformation in highly regulated and secure environments. In this role, you’ll play a central part in shaping how change is planned, communicated and embedded across projects that directly support national security outcomes. You’ll work closely with programme leaders, end users and delivery partners to ensure change is understood, well‑managed and implemented safely, consistently and with minimal disruption. You’ll be responsible for:
  • Providing leadership, delivery focus, and direction to client teams, delivery partners, ensuring strong line of stakeholder’s communication.
  • Managing and developing multi‑disciplinary teams, maintaining SQEP capability.
  • Embedding best practice in trend management and change control across the programme.
  • Ensuring trend and change information is used to drive robust decision making.
  • Owning the programme trend and change management process, ensuring accurate identification ensuring timely identification, assessment and reporting of cost and schedule impacts.
  • Establishing and maintaining integrated trend and change registers, ensuring consistency across the programme, projects and partners.
  • Chairing trend and change committees, ensuring items are reviewed promptly and actions and decisions are accurately recorded.
  • Driving high‑quality trend and change analysis, ensuring integration with planning, cost forecasting, risk and reporting functions.
  • Implementing and overseeing the programme’s change management systems and toolsets, ensuring data accuracy and usability.
  • Maintaining programme procedures, frameworks and templates aligned to governance requirements.
  • Producing timely, accurate trend and change reporting, highlighting key drivers and insights.
  • Ensuring governance, processes and resources support reliable and auditable trend and change control.
  • Providing expert advice on trend drivers, change impacts and emerging risks.
  • Ensuring delivery partners comply with programme‑wide trend and change standards.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders to support collaborative identification, evaluation and implementation of change.
  • You’ll need to have:
    • Degree (or equivalent) with professional experience in one or more specific disciplines in the construction, programme, project or commercial management disciplines.
    • Expert knowledge of trend and change management toolsets.
    • Proficiency in setting up effective trend and change management systems and procedures.
    • Able to manage activities with significant uncertainty of solution or outcome.
    • Experience of working on and leading trend and change on a major capital programme.
    • Experience in a similar position leading trend and change management processes and tools.
    • Experience of working with large organisations in their global change and transformation projects.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to present information and communicate to individuals at all levels of an organisation.
    • Outstanding organisational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and timelines.
    • Qualifications or related experience in trend and change management (ACMF, MSP practitioner or APMG - Change Management).
