Are you passionate about supporting children’s mental health needs? Are you a caring and enthusiastic person, looking to work within complex needs support?

An inclusive and welcoming school in Sonning Common are looking for a new Complex Needs Support Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. Within this role, you will be responsible for providing outstanding support to pupils who have barriers to education and require an adapted curriculum to help them develop socially, emotionally and academically.

The school are looking for someone who comes from a background in working with children and who is passionate about supporting complex special educational needs.

The ideal candidate for Complex Needs Support will:

* Have experience working with children
* Be enthusiastic about supporting SEN and complex needs
* Help to create a calm and supportive learning environment
* Implement structured routines for students
* Work 1:1 and in a small group setting

This Complex Needs Support position is ideal for someone with a background in education, care, or support work, particularly with experience in autism. A good understanding of SEN and ASD strategies is highly desirable.
