Tree Surgeon jobs in Berkshire
We are seeking full time, experienced Railway Arborists to join our vegetation management team, working on live rail infrastructure. This role is suitable for a competent climber or an experienced ground operative with proven railway experience and a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.
You will be involved in planned and reactive vegetation works, ensuring safe clearance of trees and vegetation in accordance with Network Rail standards and environmental requirements.

Preferred Skills
Essential Requirements
Proven experience working as an arborist on the railway
PTS - Personal Track Safety ticket
- First Aid +Forestry ticket
Relevant NPTC / LANTRA units (chainsaw, felling, climbing as applicable)
- Chipper Ticket
Strong understanding of railway safety procedures
Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Full UK driving licence
Desirable (Not Essential):
COSS / Site Warden
- IRATA qualification
Experience working under Network Rail standards
MEWP competence
