Start Date : January 2025
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to join our team on a part-time, permanent basis starting in January.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the provision for students with special educational needs (SEN).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create tailored support plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SEN interventions.
- Ensure compliance with SEN policies and maintain up-to-date records.
- Provide guidance and training for staff to support SEN students effectively.
Requirements :
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to work towards it).
- Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and relevant legislation.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in working with a diverse range of SEN needs.
