Lead with Impact - Head of Year Position in Reading

Are you passionate about student welfare and ready to lead? Our school in Reading is seeking a Head of Year to join us full-time, permanently, starting September 2024. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and support students, helping them achieve their full potential.

Your Role:

• Lead and manage the year group, creating a supportive and positive environment.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance student welfare, attendance, and academic performance.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students.
• Organize and oversee year group activities, events, and support initiatives to boost student engagement and well-being.

What We Look For:

• Degree in Education or related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience in a pastoral or leadership role within a school.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding practices and student welfare.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
