Structural Engineer / Senior Structural Engineer - Residential & Multi-Storey Projects Location: Reading (Hybrid - 3 Days per Week in Office - Twyford: Mon/Wed/Fri) Salary: £45,000 - £68,000 per annum Job Type: Permanent 🚨 Urgent Requirement - Multiple Hires - Immediate Interviews Available An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Structural Engineer or Senior Structural Engineer to join a growing consultancy based near Reading, supporting the delivery of a strong pipeline of residential, mixed-use and multi-storey development projects. This role offers the chance to work on large-scale residential schemes, refurbishment projects and complex multi-storey buildings, with opportunities to lead projects and take on greater technical responsibility. The successful candidate will play a key role in structural design, project delivery and client coordination, within a collaborative and forward-thinking engineering team. Key Responsibilities As a Structural Engineer / Senior Structural Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Delivering structural design across residential, mixed-use and multi-storey developments Producing and reviewing calculations, drawings and technical reports Leading or supporting delivery of structural engineering projects from concept to completion Working on refurbishment and new-build developments Coordinating with architects and multidisciplinary teams Supporting client meetings and project discussions Ensuring designs comply with UK standards and regulations Mentoring junior engineers (Senior level)Requirements To be considered for this Structural Engineer / Senior Structural Engineer role, candidates should have: 5-10 years' experience in structural engineering Proven experience working on residential, mixed-use or multi-storey building projects Strong experience in structural design and project delivery Experience working within a UK consultancy environment Ability to manage or lead projects (Senior level) Strong communication and coordination skillsDesirable: Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards chartership Experience delivering large-scale or complex developmentsWhat's On Offer £45,000 - £68,000 salary (depending on experience) Hybrid working - 3 days per week in Twyford office Opportunity to work on multi-storey and large-scale residential developments Clear pathway for career progression and project leadership Supportive and collaborative team environmentWhy Apply?
