Fire And Security Service Engineer
Our client is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic multi-skilled Security Engineer to join their established and growing team. The Service Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and servicing security systems in line with customer requirements and industry standards while delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities * Service and maintain intruder alarms, CCTV, fire, and access control systems (including Avigilon, Texecom, AJAX, and Advanced). * Carry out corrective and preventative maintenance across fire and security systems. * Respond to service calls and faults across various systems. * Conduct annual service visits and routine maintenance. * Demonstrate systems to customers and explain operation and false alarm causes. * Maintain system documentation and update site schematics where required. * Record completed work and updates via SIMPRO and obtain client sign-off. * Ensure systems meet current standards and client requirements. Requirements * Proven experience as a multi-disciplined Fire & Security Engineer (fire system experience preferred). * Strong knowledge of security systems and maintenance procedures. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Ability to work to deadlines and independently. * Full UK driving licence. (Clean licence desired but not essential) * Flexibility to travel and participate in a 1-in-4 on-call rota. Successful candidates will be required to undergo background checks including a credit check, five-year referencing history, and a DBS check due to the nature of the industry.
