Make things happen

As an apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on experience and structured training to build a long-term career with Virgin Media O2. From day one, you’ll develop the technical and commercial knowledge needed to collaborate with Sales & Commercial teams as well as Solutions Architects and other areas of Virgin Media O2, supporting the design of tailored solutions for real business customers. Day-to-day, you could be:

• Developing knowledge of our product portfolio and applying it to real customer needs
• Building relationships with new and existing business customers
• Assisting Sales Engineers and Solutions Architects on bids and solution design
• Learning to align technical solutions with our customers’ requirements and their business’s objectives

Bring your authentic self

We’re looking for motivated candidates who are passionate about technology and keen to be at the forefront of understanding our technology. To be eligible, you’ll need at least five GCSEs at Level 4–9 (or equivalent). What matters most to us is your passion to learn, data mindset, and ability to work within a team.Other qualities we’d like to see include:

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail
• Understanding of the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel

What is involved with studying for an apprenticeship?

This apprenticeship gives you the opportunity to become skilled in your role, and combines on the job learning and academic study, where you’ll spend approximately 20% of your working hours completing learning with one of our training providers. The programme is fully funded by us, and we’ll support you from day one, ensuring you complete your apprenticeship with a nationally recognised qualification.
