Year 1 Teacher - Outstanding School in Reading

We are seeking a committed Year 1 Teacher to join our warm and inclusive school in Reading from January 2026. This permanent position is open to full-time and part-time applicants, with a potential TLR for the right candidate.

The Role

Position: Year 1 Teacher
Location: Reading, Berkshire
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time considered
TLR: Available for subject or phase leadership (for the right candidate)

As our Year 1 Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that bridge EYFS and KS1 learning
• Support pupils’ early literacy and numeracy progress
• Create an inclusive classroom that nurtures confidence and curiosity
• Collaborate with colleagues and families to ensure strong outcomes
• (If applicable) Lead a subject or phase

What We’re Looking For

• QTS and KS1 experience (Year 1 preferred)
• Knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and early phonics
• Enthusiasm, creativity, and a reflective approach
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
