Music Teacher Vacancy in Reading
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and committed Music Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Reading. This is a full-time, permanent role starting in January or by agreement and offers the chance to contribute to a strong creative curriculum.
Job Overview
You will be responsible for:
• Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4, covering performance, composition, and theory
• Planning engaging lessons that support musical skill development and confidence
• Encouraging participation in ensembles, concerts, and extracurricular activities
• Supporting school performances and wider arts events
• Assessing student progress and promoting high-quality musical outcomes
• Contributing positively to the wider creative life of the school
