Responsibilities:

• Design, document, and implement High-Level (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD) for enterprise infrastructure solutions.
• Lead the architecture and optimisation of VMware-based private cloud and virtualisation platforms.
• Deliver and maintain enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions in secure environments.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet stringent Defence standards.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements, automation, and system resilience across compute and storage layers.

Skills / Must Have:

• Current DV Clearance (Developed Vetting).
• Strong experience with HLD/LLD design for infrastructure solutions.
• Proven expertise in VMware and virtualisation technologies.
• Background working with enterprise-grade infrastructure.

Nice to Have:

• VMware Certification.
• Experience with Compute & Virtualisation: Designing and managing private cloud platforms based on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), including VxRail/vSAN for hyper-converged compute and NSX for software-defined networking.
• Strong understanding of Private Cloud & HCI environments: VMware VCF, VxRail/vSAN, and backup/recovery architecture (ideally Veeam).

Salary:

• £70,000 – £100,000 per annum (depending on experience).
